Cheltenham Scouts

The youngest and newest section of the Scout Association for four and five year olds. We are still putting together the provision in Cheltenham. Please get in touch to find out more.

Beavers are aged between six and eight and meet in their Colonies. They get up to all kinds of fun activities whilst working towards their Bronze award. They:

• Master new skills

• Have fun and go on adventures

• Make friends

• Are curious about the world about them

• Help others and make a difference, on their own doorsteps and beyond

Cubs are aged between eight and ten & half and meet in their Packs. They get up to adventurous and fun activities whilst working towards their Silver award. They:

• Master new skills

• Have fun and go on adventures

• Make friends

• Are curious about the world about them

• Help others and make a difference, on their own doorsteps and beyond

Scouts are aged between ten & half and fourteen who meet in their Troops. They build their skills to move from small tasks to changing the world. They:

• Master new skills

• Have fun and go on adventures, at home and abroad

• Make friends

• Explore the world about them

• Help others and make a difference, in their own communities and beyond

Explorers are aged between fourteen and eighteen and meet in their Units. They build new friends across the entire District and the world through adventures and jamborees. They:

• Discover the word

• Start small but think big

• Seek out the answers to big questions

Network is the final section of the Scout Association for members between 18 & 25. Members take part in completely youth led activities locally and globally. They focus in the key areas of:

• Adventure

• International

• Community
