All Scout leaders need at least some training in order to effectively complete their roles in Cheltenham Scouts. We support our leaders to ensure that they complete these within their necessary timescales and retain their necessary mandatory modules as needed.
Local Training Manager
Our local training manager is Pat Hopes who supports our members by running drop-in validation sessions for members to ensure they have the skills to complete their role.
Training Modules and Learning
Gloucestershire county provides the necessary teaching modules and calendar so that members can learn about the required skills before applying them in their sections and validating them with our local training manager.
